I started seriously taking pictures about 20 years ago, with the purchase of a Minolta X700. Over the years, I have slowly moved through print films, slide films and now digital. It was simply amazing to have witnessed the revolutionary changes in this field in such a short span. The time to wait a couple of weeks for processed slides to come back, or having to carry multiple camera bodies just to have the proper color palletes for scenary (remember Fuji Velvia?) vs. portraits is long gone. Nikon D70 brought me into the wonderful world of digital photography and D300 finally convinced me the film era is history as far as 35mm goes.
This gallery displays some images from several areas of my current interests: photo-journalism style portraits of children and families, location photography for special events, landscape & nature, architecture & interior design.
