Message from Julie Ann Shoeman
I am thrilled to be part of the pbase community. I have had the opportunity to
see many talented photographers and artists here. Some of you have inspired me
to work harder and be more creative with my photography.
A dream started for me when I purchased a canon 10d. I remember the glorious day
I held the camera in my hands and the delight of rushing to a flower garden after
leaving the store. I remember the rush I felt in my heart when I captured my first
good digital picture...of a butterfly resting on a branch.
It stirred my spirit to explore the world of God...along the way...I have met so
many incredible people whose vision just blow me away. God has certainly
put me in the midst of something beautiful.
I can say without hesiation that my Canon 10D is my first digital SLR camera and
I still have it. My gear is very simple, I use a main SLR camera with two lens,
one zoom lens which is what I use the most, and Canon 85mm.
Photography is such a joy for me and I hope to pass this along to my children and
to others who want to learn. My oldest daughter Hannah is showing a strong interest
in photography.
